This Draft Uganda Standard specifies requirements and test methods for produced non-carbonized briquettes that are derived from forest residues, woody biomass, wood processing residues, recycled wood, herbaceous biomass, fruit biomass, aquatic biomass, agro-industrial residues, faecal sludge and organic waste. This standard does not apply to briquettes made from torrefied biomass materials.
