Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 1278:2025, Crayon and pastel — Specification, First edition; notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/633, G/TBT/N/KEN/1837, G/TBT/N/RWA/1238, G/TBT/N/TZA/1374 and G/TBT/N/UGA/2188 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 30th June 2026 and published in the EAC Gazette Legal Notice No. EAC/177/2026 on 30th June 2026.
