This Draft Rwanda Standard provides the terms and definitions applicable in plumbing works.
It also specifies the general requirements for plumbing systems including the requirements for materials, plumbing fixtures and fixture fittings used in plumbing works to protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
This standard is applicable to the erection, installation, alteration, repair, relocation, replacement, addition to, use, or maintenance of plumbing systems.
