This addendum concerns the notification of the draft of the Egyptian Standard ES 1595-1 "Single-use Sterile Rubber Surgical Gloves — Specification" (16 pages, in English).

This draft standard cancels and supersedes its last version ES 1595-1 /2018.

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 477/2018 (3 pages, in Arabic), which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/196 dated 4 September 2018 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard.

Worth mentioning is that this draft standard adopts the technical content of ISO 10282:2023.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
