This Draft East Africa Standard specify the application, for emulsified bitumen used for pavement in roads construction. It covers 15 grades of emulsified bitumen and 11 grades for polymer modified emulsified bitumen for use in the manner designated. It provides recommendations on selecting the proper grade and type of emulsified bitumen for various uses. Emulsified asphalt must be selected for the proper application.
