This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 372 /2025 (1 page, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 4567 "paper and board for recycling "(30 pages, in Arabic).

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No.1308/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.13 dated 21 February 2018, mandated among others the earlier version of this standard and the draft of this standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.91 dated 12 May 2025.

Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with the following:

EN 643/2014.
IS 17317/2019.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

Proposed date of adoption: 22 October 2025.

Proposed date of entry into force: The day following the date of publication in the official gazette.
