This standard specifies the basic requirements and descriptive criteria for Canned Crab Meat, as well as the methods of its inspection and testing. It does not apply to specialty products where crabmeat constitutes less than 50 percent m/m of the contents.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
