Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard DEAS 825: 2024, Groundnut seed — Requirements for certification, Second Edition, notified in G/SPS/N/BDI/106, G/SPS/N/KEN/282, G/SPS/N/RWA/99, G/SPS/N/TZA/355 and G/SPS/N/UGA/333, was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 2 July 2025.
