The notified Order establishes the technical requirements for fuels, including: Physico-chemical properties:- Petrol (EN 228:1999): Octane number (RON min. 95), sulphur content (max. 50 mg/kg), oxidation stability- Diesel (EN 590:1999): Cetane number (min. 51), flash point (min. 55°C), sulphur content (max. 10 mg/kg)Safety and quality:- Additive control (metallic compounds prohibited)- Limit on impurities (water, sediments)Test methods: European norms (EN) or equivalent methods approved by the DGIE
