Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform the WTO Members that the Draft East Africa Standard; DEAS 128:2022, Milled rice - Specification, Second Edition notified in G/SPS/N/BDI/34, G/SPS/N/KEN/190, G/SPS/N/RWA/27, G/SPS/N/TZA/228, and G/SPS/N/UGA/230 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 25 August 2023 as East Africa Standard, EAS 128:2022, Milled rice - Specification, Second Edition. This specification can be purchased by contacting the TBT NEP through nep@tbs.go.tz
