The Department of Veterinary Services, with immediate effect prohibits imports of domestic and wild birds, hatching eggs, table eggs and meat and meat products of domestic and wild birds including products intended for animal feed and for agricultural and industrial use from whole of Asia, Iran and United Kingdom. Cooked meat products of domestic and wild birds shall be imported subject to additional attestation as per Article 2.1.15.17 of OIE International Animal Health Code 2000.
