It provides for the conservation, sustainable utilization and development of fisheries and aquaculture in the fisheries waters and in the territory of the Gambia. Specifically, it contains relevant sections on fish processing, establishing the power to make regulations on fish processing, on imports and exports of fish and fishery products.
