The purpose of this Order is to establish MRLs for pesticides in or on vegetable or animal products and products of vegetable or animal origin included in schedule I annexed to the Order. However, these provisions do not apply to such products when intended for the manufacture of products other than foodstuffs and animal feed, or for sowing or planting.Pesticide residues not registered or approved for the above-mentioned products in Morocco must not exceed 0.01 mg/kg or the limit of determination.In the case of imports included in schedule I for which no specific maximum residue limit is provided for in schedules II and III, the maximum residue limit recommended by the Codex Alimentarius is taken into consideration. Where necessary, the applicant is required to submit all the data that can be used by the competent services to establish the corresponding MRLs.Any modification of a maximum residue limit established in schedules II and III can be made only on the basis of a new residue analysis submitted by the applicant.
