The Egyptian Plant Quarantine Works Committee (EPQWC) adopted the provision of fumigating lint cotton in the country of origin prior to shipment with Methyl Bromide, Phosphine (PH3) or any other internationally and EPQWC approved alternative to Methyl Bromide. The Minister of Agriculture adopted the decision of EPQWC. This regulation concerning the fumigation of lint cotton shall enter into force from the date of this addendum.
