通告描述：

The notified text defines an "undesirable substance" as any substance or product, apart from a pathogen, which is present in and/or on a product destined for animal feed and which poses a potential risk to animal or human health or to the environment or which could harm animal production.The text stipulates that animal feed that is produced domestically, imported or exported must not contain any of the undesirable substances listed in Annex I in quantities exceeding the maximum limits specified in that Annex.As regards substances not listed in Annex I which are considered undesirable by the Codex Alimentarius, their presence in animal feed that is produced domestically, imported or exported must not exceed the limits established in the said Codex.The text also stipulates that animal feed must not contain any additives, pre-mixes, compound feed or supplementary foodstuffs for animals which are not listed in Annex II of the Order or which exceed the limits specified in that Annex.
