Egypt announced its intention to use new and secured model of phytosanitary certificates developed in line with IPPC and ISPM no. 12 to avoid any fraud or unauthorized corrections in phytosanitary certificate to be issued by Central Administration of Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) of Egypt. Starting from 15 July 2014, CAPQ shall issue the new model of certificates in parallel with the old models till the end of August 2014.
