Food Grade (Table or Cooking Salt) Regulations 2005 specifies the limits of additives of food grade salt as provided in schedule one and the expected maximum limits of contaminants in food grade salt provided in schedule 2. It also contains provisions for the labelling and hygiene requirements of Food Grade (Table or Cooking Salt). The regulations further prescribe prohibitions, penalties and forfeiture for violators of the regulations.
