The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Spirit Drinks Regulations 2005 covers the use and limit of food additives in the manufacture of spirit drinks and restriction on sale of alcoholic spirits. It stipulates the packaging/labelling S.I No. of 2005, covering the advertisement of spirits and the specifications for alcoholic spirits provided in Schedules of II-V of these Regulations. It prescribes the prohibition, penalties and forfeiture to the agency of the violating products and accessories.
