Draft law spells out how slaughter houses are to be like and who qualifies to operate one and also to ensure that animals are examined before being slaughtered to ensure public health. Draft law is also to regulate the inspection of animals and meat and meat products in registered establishment and the standards for the inspection of animal slaughtered and meat products prepared in those establishments and also in respect of the import and export of meat.
