The notified Circular establishes the measures taken by Madagascar, as a country free from avian flu, in response to the spread of the disease in France.It also sets out: (i) provisions on imports of poultry and poultry products from countries that are free from avian flu; (ii) provisions on imports from avian-flu-free countries which are subject to a layover in a country affected by avian flu; and (iii) the requirements to be met upon arrival in Madagascar.
